Recruitment season is finally here! Below are some What-To-Wear tips!
Open House functions are more casual, so to match that, sport these olive shorts or chambray skirt!
Philanthropy or Second functions are a little dressier. These teal and floral rompers would be flawless!
Sisterhood or Third Round functions are step-up from the second round. A detailed dress like this hot pink ruffle dress and yellow floral halter is the perfect fit for that day.
Preference Round is more serious so you will want to wear something a little fancier. This burgundy dress is so flattering!
Bid Day is the most exciting day! A white dress is traditional.

Today marks the first day of Fall and I must say, September 22 actually feels like the cool, crisp day it should be. It really does feel like fall (que pumpkin spice lattes) and for the first time ever, I miss Summer. Normally, I cannot wait to get my boots out and go, but for some reason, summer feels unfinished…like we didn’t get to spend enough time together. I think it had to do with the perfect weekend I had. Let’s call it an “Ode to Summer,” it was spent with close family and friends, including a surprise birthday feast friday night and a lake getaway for saturday and sunday. Being in these moments made me realize how much I actually do love summer, it made it all that much more bittersweet and special. So, get out there and make it count. These are the days, my friends.
Happy Friday, y’all !
Have a fabulous weekend, everyone. What are you up to this Saturday and Sunday? Looks like all of us here are heading to the lake to soak up the end of summer. Can you believe school has started…time really does fly. Here are some fun links from around the web..hopefully you’ll enjoy them!

Happy Friday, Y’all and welcome to our new blog home…we think we’re going to like it here! I don’t know about you but every year around this time, I start to think about the summer and I the things I still want to do. At this point, I’m ready for the air to get a little cooler but still maintain that cape summer style, while we slowly (and I mean, slowly) transition into August and September. I’ve created a little mood board for the end of July..it captures how I’m feeling these days and sets the tone for the rest of my summer style. Think bright whites and light sweaters…the best!
So tell me, what do you have planned for the rest of the summer?
